Installing for Firefox 3
- Click the "Click here to Install for Firefox!" link above this text.
- If you see a yellow warning at the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this site (cl.ickable.com) from asking you to install software on your computer.", click the "Allow" button.
- Hover your mouse over the "Software Installation" dialog box. When the "Install" button reads "Install Now", press it.
- Installation should only take a second. You should next see the "Add-ons" dialog, which says "restart to complete the update". When you are ready, go ahead and restart Firefox.
- Clickable should now work. Go to a wikipedia page and select some text. You should see clickable pop up!
Installing for Firefox 2
- Click the "Click here to Install for Firefox!" link above this text.
- If you see a yellow warning at the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this site (cl.ickable.com) from asking you to install software on your computer.", click the "Edit Options..." button. If not, proceed to step 2.
- In the dialog that pops up, click "Allow".
- Now click "Close" to close that dialog.
- Now you have to click the "Click here to Install for Firefox!" link at the top of the page again.
- Hover your mouse over the "Software Installation" dialog. When the "Install" button reads "Install Now", press it.
- Installation should only take a second. You should see the "Add-ons" dialog, which says "Restart to complete the installation". Click "Restart Firefox" to finish the installation.
- Clickable should now work. Go to a wikipedia page and select some text. You should see clickable pop up!
If it doesn't work
First, make sure you closed ALL of your Firefox windows ... even a dialog box left open counts as not "restarting".
